Take any action needed to minimise the loss and to protect your property from further damage.
It is very important that you do not attempt to repair any damages* until your insurance provider authorises you to do so.
*However, you may repair any glass damages from O’Brien Glass (24/7 contact on 1800 645 011) and/or tow your car to the nearest repairer or safe location.
Do not make any admissions of liability for loss or damage.
If the loss involves theft, burglary or malicious damage, contact the police immediately on 131 444 and record details of theofficer, station notified and police report number.
